Bosnia Retries Eight for Wartime Jail Camp Abuses
The retrial of Mustafa Djelilovic, Fadil Covic, Mirsad Sabic, Nezir Kazic, Becir Hujic, Halid Covic, Serif Mesanovic and Nermin Kalember opened at the Bosnian state court on Tuesday, with the defendants accused of crimes against civilians illegally detained at the Silos camp, the Krupa barracks and the 9th of May elementary school in the Hadzici municipality.

Tennis: Mergea and Begemann advance to Szczecin Challenger doubles quarterfinals
The pairing of Romanian tennis player Florin Mergea and German Andre Begemann advanced on Wednesday to the quarterfinals of the EUR 137,560 Szczecin Challenger (Poland), after defeating 6-4, 5-7, 10-7 the Facundo Arguello (Argentina) / Roberto Carballes Baena (Spain) duo. Mergea and his partner claimed the victory after an hour and 36 minutes.
Serbia stopped in the quarterfinals of World Cup!
The players selected by Serbian coach Aleksandar Djordjevic will continue to play in the standings from 5th to 8th place.
"There was euphoria in the country, everyone was talking about how we would win the Cup. Sometimes that doesn't help. On the contrary. I know what kind of pressure the guys handled", Djordjevic said after the game.

Milko Lazarov's "Aga" is the Bulgarian Proposal For an Oscar
The National Cinema Council, chaired by Vladimir Andreev, selected the film "Aga" by director Milko Lazarov for a Bulgarian proposal in the competition for the Academy Award for Foreign Film.
Co-produced by Germany, France and Bulgaria, with the participation of BNT, the film has won prestigious cinema honors.

Rowing: Silver medal for Romania, at 2019 World Rowing Championships
Romania's Men's Four (M4-) team, made up of Mihaita Vasile Tiganescu, Mugurel Vasile Semciuc, Stefan Constantin Berariu and Cosmin Pascari won the silver medal on Saturday at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz Ottensheim (Austria). Poland took the silver medal, in 06 min 09 sec 860/1000, followed by Romania, 06 min 11 sec 410/1000, and the UK came in third, in 06 min 11 sec 710/1000.
