Shippers invest 1.44 bln euros in 11 LNG carriers

Greek shipowners have invested a total of 1.44 billion euros in acquiring 11 liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers so far this year, according to a report in Tuesdays Wall Street Journal.

Natural gas cost expected to drop by 20 pct in 2015, deputy minister says
The price of natural gas in Greece, used by industries and consumers for heating their homes, is expected to drop by as much as 20 percent in 2015, Deputy Energy Minister Makis Papageorgiou told a conference on Tuesday.

Turkey eyes gas price discount from Gazprom
Turkey hopes to receive a discount on gas prices, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yıldız said Nov. 26.
