LIPLJAN - A commemoration was held in the village of Staro Gracko on Wednesday to mark 15 years since the killing of 14 Serb reapers in the municipality of Lipljan in northern Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).

Kosovo and Serbian officials have voiced sharply differing interpetations of an EU-led agreement aimed at defusing tensions in the divided town of Mitrovica.

Negotiators interpret Brussels meeting differently

BRUSSELS -- Marko Đurić says he is "stunned by the statement of Edita Tahiri" that an agreement was reached "to remove the barricades" from a bridge in Kosovska Mitrovica.

BRUSSELS - Director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric stated that the Peace Park built by the Kosovska Mitrovica Serbs will remain until further notice on the bridge over the Ibar River which connects the northern (Serb-populated) part and the southern (ethnic Albanian) part of the city in northern KiM.

BELGRADE, BRUSSELS - Director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric will meet with representatives of the interim authorities from Pristina in Brussels Tuesday, and the main topic of the talks will be the situation in the northern KiM city of Kosovska Mitrovica.

Serbs threaten to "leave institutions" over arrests

ZUBIN POTOK -- Serbs representatives in Kosovo held a protest rally in Zubin Potok on Monday, and warned they would "consider the possibility of leaving Kosovo institutions."

The Community of Serb Municipalities, which represents Serbs in the north, made its threat at a protest in the northern town of Zubin Potok on Monday, held under the slogan “We are All the Same - Who is Next?”

ZUBIN POTOK – Representatives of Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) staged a protest rally in Zubin Potok in northern KiM Monday, and warned that they would consider the possibility of leaving Kosovo institutions if arrests of Serbs in the southern Serbian province continued.

Situation in K. Mitrovica to be discussed in Brussels

BELGRADE -- Office for Kosovo Director Marko Đurić says that the situation in Kosovska Mitrovica will be the main topic of a meeting planned for Tuesday in Brussels.

BELGRADE - By taking part in the Kosovo government, Serbia decided to take upon itself a significant part of responsibility for the safety and quality of life of Kosovo Serbs and I expect to see the Serbs take ministerial seats too, the Director of Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) Marko Djuric said.
