Israel to Unfreeze Tax Transfers to Palestine
Israel will resume the transfer of tax revenues levied on behalf of the Palestinian Authority, which had been suspended since January.
The re-elected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu justified this move with rising humanitarian concerns, the deteriorating situation in the Middle East and the rise of extremism.

Turkey calls on int’l community to lend support to new Palestinian gov’t
Ankara has voiced support for the new unified government between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbasâ Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and Hamas and has urged the international community to also support the move.
Ankara believes the newly formed government will eventually help build sustainable peace in the Middle East.
