Parliament condemns Trump's peace plan
Turkey's parliament has condemned the U.S. peace plan for the Middle East, saying it is against U.N. resolutions and a two-state solution framework.
All five political parties of parliament signed a joint declaration on Jan. 29, condemning the peace plan while vowing to "stand by" Palestinians.

Hamas calls for resistance against Israeli tax move
The Hamas resistance group called on the Palestinian administration Jan. 1 to work together with it and other groups against Israel's decision to withhold millions of dollars in tax funds from Palestinians.
In a statement, Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said the decision once again proves the "piracy of Israel."
Israel to withhold $43 million of Palestinian tax funds
The Israeli Security Cabinet on Dec. 29 voted to withhold $43 million of tax funds from the Palestinians, saying the money has been used to promote violence, Israeli media reported.
The sum represents funds that Israel says the Palestinians have used to pay the families of Palestinians who have been jailed or killed as a result of attacking Israel, according to various reports.
