Farmers Launch Second Day of Protests Across Bulgaria
Farmers in Bulgaria are gearing up for another day of protests, continuing their demonstrations for the second consecutive day. Today, they plan to stage blockades on several key roadways from 10:00 to 13:00, amplifying their calls for action.
EIB, EBRD, EU support construction of North Macedonia’s rail line
The European Investment Bank (EIB), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Union announced on Tuesday a 560 million euro ($613.87 million) financing package for North Macedonia to build a railway line to neighboring Bulgaria.
Bulgaria: A Child Drives a Bus Full of Passengers (VIDEO)
Again a situation with a child behind the wheel in Bulgaria. The boy was filmed sitting on a driver's lap and driving a bus with passengers on the Trakia highway.
The video was shot on Sunday around 11:00 a.m. on the Burgas-Sofia road. According to the onlooker who sent the signal to Nova TV, the vehicle was curving on the road.
Two Accidents on Trakia - Turkish Truck Driver Killed a Bulgarian, Car with Migrants Crashed on the Highway
One person died after a truck swept away a minibus stopped in the emergency lane on the Trakia highway.
The serious accident occurred in the area of 94 kilometers in the direction of Sofia. According to initial data, a truck with Turkish registration, driven by a Turkish driver, hit the minibus in the emergency lane. The driver of the bus died as a result of the heavy impact.
Bulgaria: Chain Crash Closed part of Trakia Highway
A chain crash occurred on the Trakia Highway in the area of the 167th km. The signal for the accident was given at 13.25 p.m.
According to initial information, the road accident is between two trucks, a minibus and a car.
So far there are data for one victim, medical assistance is provided.
43 Illegal Migrants from Afghanistan Caught Crossing the Bulgarian-Turkish Border
Chirpan police caught 43 illegal migrants from Afghanistan traveling on the Trakia highway in a minibus with Burgas registration this morning.
The Chirpan police department received a signal from the Elhovo border police for a minibus transporting illegal migrants across the Bulgarian-Turkish border.
Restriction for Trucks on Hemus Highway
The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) announced that it will stop the movement of trucks over 12 tons in a 17-kilometer section of the Hemus motorway for a little more than 24 hours.
From 12 noon on July 25 (Sunday) to 2 pm on July 26 (Monday) the traffic of heavy trucks between the 47th and 30th km of the motorway in the direction of Sofia is stopped.

Trakia Highway near Stara Zagora to Bourgas is Opened for Traffic
The traffic on the Trakia highway in the section from Chirpan to Stara Zagora in the direction of Bourgas has already been launched. The repairs there lasted longer than originally announced and in the middle of the summer season led to huge traffic jams on the way to the sea. At the end of next week, the traffic to Sofia will be restored.
Government Provides BGN 81 Million for Hemus Motorway Construction
The Council of Ministers decided to provide 81,157,840 leva in financial resources to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW) to pay for this year's construction activities along the unfinished Hemus Motorway which will link the Bulgarian capital Sofia with the seaside city of Varna, the Government Information Service reported on Tuesday.
