Serbian patriarch urges rights for Kosovo-Metohija Serbs
BELGRADE - Patriarch Porfirije and all archbishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church on Thursday urged the international community to ensure to Kosovo-Metohija Serbs the same universal freedoms that ethnic Albanians and all other people in the world have.
SPC to hold a special meeting about Kosovo and Metohija?
As Tanjug learns from the well-informed church circles, the special meeting is a possibility even though the Church's stance "on the issue remains clear and unchanged".
The Church's position, announced after the May meeting, is that Serbia must not lose Kosovo.

BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament's Committee on Kosovo-Metohija discussed on Tuesday the current security situation in the province and adopted conclusions urging the international community to act in line with its mandate and ensure security for all Serbs and other non-Albanians in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM).
Serb house stoned in Klina
KLINA - A Serb house in central Klina, Kosovo-Metohija, was stoned in the night between Wednesday and Thursday, the head of the Pec District Vinka Radosavljevic said in a statement to Tanjug.
The owner of the house, an elderly man, heard nothing but found out in the morning that the glass door had been smashed, Radosavljevic said.

Another Serb returnee's house in Kosovo set on fire
ISTOK - A house owned by the Serb returnee family Pantic in the village of Ljug, Klina municipality, was set on fire, the head of the Pec District Vinka Radosavljevic told Tanjug.
The incident occurred last night, said Radosavljevic, adding that the part of the house that caught fire was empty as the Pantic family no longer lives in it.
Only six Serbs have remained in Istok.

KLINA -- The home of Drago Kunić, a Serb resident of Klina, Kosovo, was has been targeted by unidentified individuals who threw stones into the windows of the house.
Head of the Peć District Vinka Radosavljević told the media about the incident on Monday.
