Battlefield | Athens | October 17-20
The Hellenic Cosmos Cultural Center is hosting British theater director Peter Brook's "Battlefield" in a series of performances taking place at its Theatron venue on October 17-20. The production, penned and directed by Brook and Marie-Helene Estienne, is based on "Mahabharata," a play written by Jean-Claude Carriere and directed by Brook some 30 years ago.

Number of opera, ballet halls falls
In the 2014-2015 season, as compared to the 2013-2014 season, the number of the opera and ballet halls in Turkey decreased by 26.7 percent, dropping to 11 total, while the number of seats in opera and ballet halls decreased by 37.8 percent to 6,398, according to the Operas, Ballets, Orchestras, Choirs and Groups 2015 statistics revealed by the Turkish Statistics Institute (TÜIK).

Uriah Heep to Perform in Bulgaria's Ruse on May 7
The legendary English rock band Uriah Heep will perform in the Bulgarian city of Ruse on May 7.
The concert will take place at the multi-purpose Bulstrad Arena, a day after the holiday of Ruse.
The concert will begin at 20 o'clock (EET) and Uriah Heep is expected to perform all its greatest hits from its 24 albums.

Scorpions 50th Anniversary Tour to Include Sofia Concert on July 17
The legendary German rock band, Scorpions, marks their 50th anniversary with a new album and a world tour which includes the Bulgarian capital city, Sofia Music Enterprises has announced.
The concert is scheduled for July 17 at Arena Armeec hall in Sofia.
