Philips cuts 6,000 more jobs after sleep device recall
Embattled Dutch medical tech maker Philips said yesterday it will slash 6,000 more jobs worldwide after fresh losses caused by a massive recall of faulty sleep respirators.
Chief Executive Roy Jakobs announced the "difficult, but necessary further reduction of our workforce" by 2025, which comes just three months after it announced another 4,000 cuts.

Six Romanian soldiers who were treated in Germany, four of whom were wounded in Afghanistan in October, were repatriated on Thursday by an Air Force aircraft, which also carried medical equipment for intensive care donated to Romania by the Berlin authorities.

Under the European polish, here comes racism
The images that were recorded in Madrid were the peak that racism, foolishness, shamelessness and mercilessness could ever reach.
