Kosovo's Constitutional Court Ex-Chief Charged with Fraud
Kosovo's Special Prosecution raised an indictment against Hasani on Friday for committing "fraud while holding official duty" while he was rector of the University of Pristina.
Hakif Veliu, former head of the University of Pristina procurement office and Albert Rakipi, director of the Institute for International Studies from Tirana, were charged alongside Hasani.
"UNESCO membership ratification would need Serb votes"
"Kosovo cannot become a UNESCO member without the support of Serb MPs in the Kosovo parliament," Radmila Trajkovic has said.
Speaking for the Belgrade-based daily Danas, this former member of the assembly in Pristina explained that her opinion was based on "the Kosovo Constitution and those obligations that Pristina assumed from Martti Ahtisaari's plan."
Spain, Mali do not back Pristina's UNESCO bid
Ivica Dacic had separate meetings with foreign ministers of Spain and Mali, who said their countries will not change their stance on Kosovo.
They will also not back Pristina's attempt to join UNESCO as a member, Tanjug reported.

Serbia Vows to Stop Kosovo Joining UNESCO
Serbia's Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon saying that Kosovo's request to become a member of UNESCO is unacceptable under international law, Serbian public broadcaster RTS reported on Sunday.
