Kosovo Foils Terror 'Plot to Poison Water Supply'
Kosovo police arrested five persons on Saturday suspected of planning to poison the water supply to the city of Pristina in Lake Badovc.
Three were arrested in the vicinity of the Badovc Lake, police said, while two others were arrested later.
On Sunday, the Basic Court in Pristina ordered a month's detention for all five.

Water supply turned off in Kosovo capital Pristina after arrests
Water supplies to almost half of Kosovo's capital city Pristina were turned off on July 11 after police arrested three people on terrorism charges close to an artificial lake.
Two other men were arrested later in the day. All face terrorism charges, police said, without giving any further details.

Swiss TV on Monday reported the death of the 29-year-old athlete of Kosovo Albanian origin - who moved to Germany aged six - saying it was announced on Facebook in a post uploaded by his brother.
Gashi died last Saturday under circumstances that remain unclear, the Swiss public broadcaster, said.
Kick-boxer from Kosovo joins IS, dies in Syria
Valdet Gashi from Kosovo has been killed in Syria where he fought as a member of the Islamic State (IS), the media in Pristina are reporting.
The 29-year-old, a kick-boxer, joined the IS in January.

Latest EU-Facilitated Serbia-Kosovo Dialogue Fails to Reach Agreement
The latest EU-facilitated dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo failed to reach agreement between the two sides.
This was announced by EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini on Tuesday.

Angela Merkel has called on Belgrade and Pristina to reach compromise, stressing that only progress in their dialogue would bring them closer to the EU.
"It's time to achieve compromise," the German chancellor has been quoted as saying during a joint news conference with Kosovo Prime Minister Isa Mustafa in Berlin.

Milivoje Mihajlovic says that the latest round in the Belgrade-Pristina talks "yielded no results" because Pristina "does not need any agreement."

Ahead of talks, PM "not happy about violation of agreements"
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic says that "Belgrade is going to Brussels to continue dialogue with Pristina in good faith," and hopes for solutions.
According to the Beta agency, Vucic was, however, noted that "not everything depends only on Belgrade."
