The government is now obliged to include official figures and also deterioration that has been ongoing in the economy for a while. Serious revisions have been made in the Medium Term Program (OVP) targets released on the weekend. 

Industrial production in Turkey exceeded estimates in August, driven largely by a sharp increase in durable goods production, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜ?K) released on Oct. 8.

A speeding up of the insolvency lawsuit procedures, providing of correct law implementation, improvement of the mechanisms of dealing with corruption and an improvement in the monitoring of the judiciary are all among the main recommendations of the World Bank to Bulgaria.

The information has been presented at a news conference as a part of the report on the country's productivity.

"Croatia has entered the time of a new development model that relies on competitiveness and productivity, and not on massive public investment in infrastructure," Milanovic told the Invest HR conference in Zagreb on Monday.

"We have a new development model; we do not need hundreds of kilometres of new highways and thousands of new houses, but we need investment in quality," he added.
