Poll shows positivity for government’s diplomacy
Public Issue polling company carried out research for pro-government newspaper “Avgi”. The polling research took place between 12 and 17 of February.
The positive opinions for the government reaches 81% while the opinions for the previous government party, New Democracy, reaches 16%. Negative opinions for the government stand at 11%, with 74% for the previous ruling party.

Americans think Russia is their biggest enemy
WASHINGTON -- Americans no longer consider North Korea to be their biggest enemy - currently more than 18 percent believe Russia to be that "greatest threat."
This number represents a two percent increase compared to a previous Gallup poll, according to reports.

Majority of Turks would fight for their country, survey says
A large majority of Turkish people, 73 percent, said they would be willing to fight for their country if there were a war that involved Turkey, Gallup International's annual global End of Year survey has shown.
Globally, 60 percent of the people surveyed said they would be willing to take up arms for their country while 27 percent would not be willing.
Respect, cooperation at work stronger motive than money

53% of Bulgarians Do Not Trust Banking System – Poll
Some 53% of Bulgarians do not trust the banking system in the country, according to a survey conducted by Gallup International.
Lack of trust in Bulgarian financial institutions is on the rise for second straight month. In July, it was 41%.
Meanwhile, some 27% and 33% of the polled said they had trust in the banking system in August and in July respectively, BGNES reports.
One other loser in elections: survey companies
It is an unchanging topic in Turkey after every election, comparing the actual results with the predictions of pre-election public opinion polls. However, the role of the survey agencies has never triggered such a major debate in any recent election before as they did in the presidential elections held last Sunday, Aug. 10.
