PCR tests from Serbia, Turkey recognised as of Wednesday
Ljubljana – PCR tests done in Serbia and Turkey will be recognised as a way to avoid quarantine on arrival in Slovenia from Wednesday under an amended decree that the government adopted on Monday.
Covid-19: Australians Returning from India Could Be Jailed
Australian citizens returning home from India could face up to five years in jail and fines after the government made the journey temporarily illegal.
The health ministry said the ruling had been made "based on the proportion of people in quarantine who have acquired a Covid-19 infection in India".
Earlier this week, Australia banned all flights from India.

Number of new infections drops, new vaccines added to quarantine-free border pass
Ljubljana – The number of new infections dropped both in daily and weekly comparison in Slovenia on Wednesday. A total of 891 new cases were confirmed in 4,278 PCR and 24,242 rapid tests, while a week ago the figure was 1,527 and on Tuesday it topped 1,000. Seven patients died.
Greece lifts quarantine for visitors from Serbia
Greece will lift quarantine next week for passengers coming from the European Union and five other countries, including Serbia, who have been vaccinated or tested negative for Covid 19, a senior government official stated today.

Record 1,531 COVID-19 patients in intensive care out of 13,500 hospitalisations
As many as 13,500 people with COVID-19 are hospitalised in Romania at specialist care facilities, out of whom a record 1,531 in intensive care, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS), the official novel coronavirus communication task force, reported on Sunday. In Romania, 62,273 people confirmed with the novel coronavirus are in isolation at home and 16,033 are in institutional isolation.
Pupils returning to schools as planned on Monday
Ljubljana – Pupils will return to schools and the youngest children to kindergartens following an 11-day circuit-breaker lockdown on Monday under a decision taken by the government on Thursday, which is in line with the promise made before the country entered its third coronavirus lockdown.
