While Greece has picked up speed in terms of innovation and strengthening the technology sector, businesses, especially small and medium-sized ones, still have a long way to go to boost their performance in this field, which is an obstacle for their further development.

Students from Germany and the Netherlands have already signed up for the University of Athens' newly launched Science and Technology Studies postgraduate program in the English language, exploring a diversity of cutting-edge issues.

The 21st European Eco-innovation Forum is held today and Tuesday in Sofia Tech Park.

The Forum is organized jointly by the Directorate General for Environment of the European Commission and the Ministry of Environment and Waters. The event will be accompanied by a new protest action in defense of Pirin National Park.
