US Contractors Hurt in Anevo Incident Were Testing Arms for Syrian Opposition Army

The three US citizens injured near Bulgaria's Anevo were in fact sent on a mission to test weapons that would then be sold to the Syrian opposition, Reuters reported.

The arms allegedly were going to be used for anti-IS efforts in the region accoridng to an anonymous US military source.

US says data on four million government staff hacked

The US government on June 4 admitted hackers accessed the personal data of at least four million current and former federal employees, in a vast cyber-attack suspected to have originated in China.

"As a result of the incident," uncovered in April, the Office of Personnel Management said it "will send notifications to approximately four million individuals."

The USA informed that the personal financial data of up to four million current and former government officials may have been breached by a cyber attack reportedly originating from China.

Credit card data, banking records and other forms of financial information could have been stolen in the attack, USA Today reports.

Terrorist suspects Christodoulou and Tsironis face prosecutor

Greek police arrested two suspects during a counter-terrorism raid at Nea Agialos in Volos: 44-year-old Spiros Christodoulou and 37-year-old Grigoris Tsironis. The latter had been wanted for years as one of the “robbers in black” that had worked with Marios and Simos Seisidis, two brothers who are wanted.

Greek bonds performing well amid optimism for deal

Greek bonds are the best performing sovereign securities tracked by Bloomberg?s World Bond Indexes in the last month amid optimism an agreement may be within reach.

On Tuesday, the Greek paper rebounded after Monday?s sell-off, with yields on notes due 2017 falling 122 basis points to 22.77 percent.
