Poll: Serbia's Ruling Party Wins Majority in Early Elections

According to preliminary results of Sunday's early elections in Serbia, the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) of Aleksandar Vucic has won over 50% of the votes.

According to preliminary results published by the Center for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID), as cited by B92, Alexandar Vucic's SNS wins 160 seats in in the country's 250-seat parliament.

SNS to have 44 percent of votes, NDS 8, DS 7

BELGRADE - The Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) will win 44 percent of votes in the March 16 elections, ahead of the coalition gathered around the Serbian Socialist Party (SPS) with 13 percent of votes, states the latest survey of the Center for Free Elections and Democracy (CeSID) published in the Monday's edition of the Belgrade-based daily Blic.

Greetings for Statehood Day

BELGRADE - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik sent his greetings to Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic on Friday for Serbia's Statehood Day, saying that Serbia had strengthened its position domestically and internationally by moving forward with its EU integration.
