Stickers confirm that Serb are underprivileged citizens

BELGRADE - The stickers with the Croatian flag used to cover the bilingual signs on government buildings in Vukovar, which were put there by members of an association of war veterans, confirm that Serbs are underpriviliged citizens in Croatia and that the law does not protect them, head of the Coalition of Refugee Associations Miodrag Linta said on Saturday.

Play dedicated to veterans of Salonica front performed

BELGRADE - Students of the Belgrade and Banjaluka academies of arts performed the play "Veterans of the Salonica Front Speak" at the National Theatre in Belgrade late Saturday.

The play, based on a docudrama by Antonije Djuric and directed by Cisana Murusidze, is part of the official programme marking the centenary of the outbreak of World War I.

Office for Kosovo urges better protection for Visoki Decani

BELGRADE - The Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija has condemned strongly the threats against the monastery of Visoki Decani and urged Kfor to boost military protection of the monastery and identify and bring to justice as soon as possible the unknown perpetrator who has threatened to raze it.

Josipovic opens Serb cultural center in Pula

PULA - Croatian President Ivo Josipovic has opened a Serb cultural center in Pula, a city at the tip of the Istrian peninsula, and said that Croatia wants to be a country where everyone will have the opportunity to affirm their culture and tradition and that Croatia is ready to lend a hand to all people of goodwill, including friends from the Republic of Serbia.
