Australia plans to ban convicted pedophiles from traveling overseas in what the government said Tuesday is a world-first move to protect vulnerable children in Southeast Asia from exploitation.
Australian pedophiles are notorious for taking inexpensive vacations to nearby Southeast Asian and Pacific island countries to abuse children there.

Turkish parliament passes code to increase sentence to abusers

The Turkish parliament's General Assembly has passed a code that would increase sentences meted out to sexual abusers on Nov. 24. 

According to the new code, child sexual abusers will be sentenced to jail between eight and 15 years. The sentence will be between three to eight years if no rape is in question.

Texas day care worker arrested after producing child porn (vid)

Christina Cortez, 38, is accused of producing child pornography at the Texas day care where she worked. The former day care worker distributed child pornography to a fugitive sex offender Matthew Harbin, aged 29. She was arrested after images of at least one child being sexually abused was found in her possession.

Greek police crack internet porn case involving minor

The Greek police cyber crime squad announced the cracking of an internet pornography case involving a young girl, aged 17, as the victim. The investigation was launched after the mother of the young girl reported that her daughter had been talking to strangers on social media and had, at some point, sent racy photographs.

Germany seeks legalization of incest

Incest could be made legal in Germany following a meeting of the German Ethics Council studying the case of Patrick Stuebing who was adopted and then later fell in love with his biological sister. The couple had four children before Stuebing was imprisoned in 2008 though he appealed to the European Court of Human Rights over his entitlement to a family life in 2012.
