Greek police crack internet porn case involving minor

The Greek police cyber crime squad announced the cracking of an internet pornography case involving a young girl, aged 17, as the victim. The investigation was launched after the mother of the young girl reported that her daughter had been talking to strangers on social media and had, at some point, sent racy photographs. She received a message from another account threatening to share the photographs with others unless she sent two more. She refused and the photographs were sent to her social network of friends. The assailant – a boy, aged 17 – then asked other minors for similar material and even offered another girl money to sleep with him.

The police found the boy involved in the case and confirmed that he was the owner of two social media accounts that had held but erased the girl’s photographs. The boy is to stand before the misdemeanour courts’ prosecutor.
