Macedonia to Scrap Alexander Signs To Appease Greece
Macedonia will soon start replacing the old "Alexander the Great" name signs from Skopje airport and from the E-75 highway that leads toward Greece.
The government's decision to rename key infrastructure was published on Thursday in the official gazette.
FYROM proceeds with airport, road renaming
The decision taken by Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and his cabinet to rename the country's main airport and a main highway has been made official.
The alterations are meant to be a goodwill gesture as talks over the name issue with Greece continue.

Pristina-bound plane makes emergency landing in Belgrade
An Austrian Airlines plane flying from Vienna to Pristina made an emergency landing in Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport on Sunday evening.
Tanjug reported this, citing the airport's PR service.
Six Killed in Private Plane Crash in Macedonia
A small private plane flying from the Italian city of Treviso to Kosovo's capital Pristina crashed amid heavy rain on Tuesday evening in Macedonia, killing all six people on board.
Mitko Cavkov, head of Macedonia's Bureau for Public Security, said four Italians and two Kosovo citizens were killed in the crash.

Top service quality award to Istanbul Atatürk Airport
Istanbul Atatürk Airport improved its service quality the most in Europe over the past year, its operator said March 1, while noting that another of its airports, Skopje Airport, had been selected the best in Europe in its category.
The ASQ program selected the TAV-run Istanbul Atatürk Airport as "the most improved airport" in Europe.
