Turkish Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Sofia
A Turkish Airlines plane has made an emergency landing at Sofia Airport on Wednesday but there were no injuries, BGNES news outlet reported.
The plane, flying from Istanbul to Prague, developed a technical problem while in Bulgarian airspace. According to initial information, smoke appeared on board.
All passengers have left the aircraft, BGNES said.

Budget Flights Boost Air Traffic in Macedonia
New data from the Macedonian Civil Aviation Agency, CAA, show that passenger numbers rose by 40 per cent in the last four years at Skopje’s Alexander the Great airport.
Macedonia’s main airport last year nearly broke the million-passenger boundary, after more than 920,000 passengers passed through it.
