PM to ask party for permission "to decide on early polls"
Aleksandar Vucic will on Sunday ask his party, the SNS, to allow him to decide on whether to call early parliamentary elections before the SNS Assembly meets.
According to a statement issued by the party on Wednesday, the prime minister and SNS leader has scheduled a meeting of the main board of the SNS for January 17, when "the current political situation" will be discussed.

CeSID: SNS wins majority in parliament
BELGRADE - According to preliminary data, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won around 50 percent of the votes at the snap parliamentary election on Sunday, the coalition led by the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) got around 15 percent, while the Democratic Party (DS) and the New Democratic Party (NDS) were the only other parties to cross the election threshold.
