Pulitzer Prize winning Greek-American author Jeffrey Eugenides will be talking about his work and issues relating to identity during a two-stop visit to Greece. On Tuesday, September 25, he will be in Thessaloniki in the framework of events on the occasion of the US being the honored country at this year's international trade fair in the northern port city.

The National Library of Greece invites the public into its new home at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) for an exhibition of photographs by Costas Zafeiropoulos. The show comprises a selection of portraits of denizens of Athens experiencing hardship in the Greek capital. Opening hours are daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and admission is free of charge.

The Pulitzer Prize winning Greek-American author Jeffrey Eugenides will visit Athens on September 27 as part of the Athens 2018 World Book Capital celebrations organized by the Municipality of Athens with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and the US Embassy in Athens.

Circus performers will be at different locations of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center from 6.30 p.m. every day from Sunday, June 17, to Sunday, June 24, entertaining visitors with weird and wonderful tricks and stunts. Admission to the park is free of charge and there's a free shuttle bus that runs between the SNFCC and Syntagma Square via the Fix metro station.  


American Ballet Theater Studio Company, the highest rung on the ABT training ladder, is a classical ensemble of 12 dancers and is coming to Athens for a show at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center's Summer Nostos Festival on Sunday, June 17. The show at the opera house stage starts at 8.30 p.m.
