MPs from three opposition parties have walked out of the parliamentary committee probing the Tempe train disaster after accusing ruling New Democracy of trying to engineer a "cover-up" and acquit those responsible.

SYRIZA roiled over identity survey, secretariat to reconvene Tuesday
Turmoil has gripped the main opposition party SYRIZA's internal politics following the circulation of a survey that sought party members' opinions on the party's identity. Kasselakis to speak at LSE event, meet with Greek diaspora in London
SYRIZA leader Stefanos Kasselakis will visit London on Sunday, following an invitation to speak at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on Monday evening.
House approves same-sex marriage bill
Greece's 300-member Parliament approved the bill granting same-sex couples equal rights in marriage in a roll call vote on Thursday night. The reform extends full parental rights to gay couples but will not allow for medically assisted reproduction through a surrogate.
The bill was voted on by 254 lawmakers, with 176 voting in favor and 76 against.
