Amazon and Apple have reported earnings that topped market expectations, aiming for even better days ahead with the help of artificial intelligence (AI).

"Inside Amazon, every one of our teams is working on building generative AI applications that reinvent and enhance their customers' experience," chief executive Andy Jassy said during an earnings call.

Apple enjoys a "symbiotic" relationship with China, CEO Tim Cook said on March 25, as the iPhone giant looks to move production out of the country.

(Reuters) - Apple Inc (AAPL.O) Chief Executive Tim Cook said on Thursday that the iPhone maker's $1 trillion market capitalization was "not the most important measure" of the company's success but was instead a result of its focus on its products, customers and company values.
