Greek gov't announces scheme to boost Roma living standards
Interior Minister Nikos Voutsis on Tuesday heralded a scheme that aims to improve the living standards of the country?s Roma community by relocating them out of makeshift settlements and improving their access to education and health services.
UN rapporteur to evaluate racism in Greece
United Nations Special Rapporteur Mutuma Ruteere will visit Greece from May 4-8 2015 to evaluate the situation of racism and discrimination in the country.
This is the first official mission to Greece by the independent expert mandated by the UN Human Rights Council to assess and report on the situation of racism, racial discrimination and related intolerance in the world.

GENEVA -- The International Federation of Journalists has urged collective action to promote media safety during a discussion organized by the UN Human Rights Council.
The panel on the safety of journalists took place during the council's 26th session which opened on June 10 in Geneva, the IFJ said in a statement.
