Dendias heads to Vilnius for NATO defense ministers’ meeting
Greek Defense Minister Nikos Dendias was heading to Lithuania on Tuesday to attend the North Atlantic Council meeting of NATO defense ministers in the capital, Vilnius.
Dendias will also attend the dinner for defense and foreign affairs ministers on the same evening.

Fidan congratulates Gerapetritis for his appointment as FM
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan congratulated Greek counterpart Giorgos Gerapetritis on assuming his duties, in a phone call on Wednesday, the Foreign Ministry said on a pos on Twitter.
The ministers had a discussion and agreed to meet on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, it added.
US ambassador urges support for Sweden’s NATO bid
U.S. Ambassador to Ankara Jeff Flake has said that it is time for Sweden to become a member of NATO, expressing his hope that the country would join the alliance either before or during the upcoming Vilnius summit.

Bulgaria’s PM will lead the Delegation to the NATO Summit
The government approved the composition of the Bulgarian delegation for the NATO Summit on July 11-12 in Vilnius. The delegation led by Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov includes Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tihomir Stoychev and Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov.
