Vucic Scraps Croatia Visit as Relations Worsen

Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic's office has confirmed that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has postponed his announced visit to Zagreb, the Croatian daily Vecernji list reported on Wednesday.

The official visit should have taken place in November or December but has been postponed indefinitely.

Any possible changes in the Serbian government will not be decided about via the media, a Belgrade daily has learned from PM Ana Brnabic's cabinet.

"The prime minister is listening very carefully and following the comments made in the public. But she will not make decisions under pressure," Politika was told.

Serbian defense minister visits CSTO HQ in Moscow

Serbian Defense Minister Aleksandar met on Monday in Moscow with Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov.

The meeting, held at the CSTO headquarters, considered the possibilities and perspectives of future cooperation, while Vulin and Khachaturov "exchanged stances" on current security and political situation in the region and in the world.

Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin has come under fire after saying he cannot source the origin of the 205,000 euros he used to buy real estate because he brought the money from Canada in instalments - so that he would not have to declare it to customs.

By law, no more than 10,000 euros may be bought into Serbia without submission of a declaration to customs.
