Representatives of the Sami indigenous population in Sweden are worried that climate change could put an end to their traditional livelihoods because reindeer are starving, the AP reported.

More than 3,000 lightening strikes were recorded Greece on August 15, with the biggest frequency detected in central regions of the country during rainstorms, according to the National Observatory of Athens.

The sunny weather in northern Greece will give way to heavy rain, thunderstorms and gale-force winds as of Thursday.
