Zappeion

On Sunday, April 26, the 22nd Bike Round of Athens, dedicated to Earth Day kicks off at Zappeion Megaron.  The bike race kicks off at 11.30 a.m. at Zappeion in downtown Athens and has routes that run for 8.5 km and 2.7 km. The disabled persons' event kicks off at Propylaia at 11.40 a.m.

The police has banned public gatherings in central Athens from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, when the European Union’s finance ministers will be in the Greek capital for an informal Eurogroup and then an ECOFIN meeting.
