BELGRADE - Serbian MP Milovan Drecun said on Friday it seemed the creators of a UN General Assembly draft resolution on Srebrenica did not quite have a certain majority that would guarantee its adoption and needed more time to clarify it to countries that could vote for it but were "in a dilemma for some reason."

BELGRADE - In a discussion with the German MFA's envoy Michael Reiffenstuel in Belgrade, Serbian Deputy PM and Defence Minister Milos Vucevic said Serbia wanted the sponsors of a draft UN General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica to withdraw the document to "contribute to reconciliation in the region."

WASHINGTON - Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali said a new Standard & Poor's report on Serbia, due in October, may give the country investment-grade credit rating as early as this year.

Mali said this after a meeting with the credit rating agency's representatives in Washington, where he is attending the IMF/World Bank Group Spring Meetings.

BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic described on Thursday as a "worrying message" an announcement by the NATO commander in Europe, Christopher Cavoli, that the alliance would send more troops to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo-Metohija.

BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Thursday there was no genocide that had not been committed by countries that had signed up to a draft UN General Assembly resolution on Srebrenica, and added that "the powerful can do anything" but that Serbia would fight against its adoption.

MOSTAR - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on Tuesday he did not understand why countries like Germany and the US wanted a Srebrenica resolution passed in the UN as it was "deeply divisive for peoples in the Balkans" and taking them back to the past.
