US medical journals site dental mishap in Bursa

American medical journals have featured a case from the northwestern province of Bursa, where a screw used in a dental implant procedure became lodged in the patient's jawbone and advanced towards the brain.

Over 1,100 illegal migrants nabbed in five days

Security forces carried out five-day operations targeting illegal migration, apprehending 1,117 irregular migrants during the Eid holiday across the country, Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya has announced.

In a post on the social media platform X on April 12, Yerlikaya stated that the operations dubbed "Shield-19" also included inspections with mobile migration checkpoints.

Army dogs undergo tough training

The dogs of the Turkish Armed Forces are receiving tough training at the Dog Training Battalion in the northwestern province of Bursa.

The battalion has been training dogs since 1963. Dogs of 12 different breeds, six of which are local, are produced and raised at the center in Bursa and receive challenging training in eight branches.
