COVID-19 pandemic in Bulgaria

The new cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria increased both in absolute number and as a percentage, according to the data in the Unified Information Portal. 299 new infections were registered for the last 24 hours, marking an increase of 17 compared to the previous report, when there were 282 cases.

27 persons were newly diagnosed with COVID-19 in Bulgaria during the past 24 hours. One of them was detected by PCR, and 26 by rapid antigen tests. 70.37% of the new cases proven in the last 24 hours are of persons who have not been vaccinated.

30 are the persons newly diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours, 2 of which were detected by PCR, and 28 by rapid antigen tests. 73.33% of the new cases proven in the last 24 hours are of persons who have not been vaccinated.

234 clinical samples of coronavirus were analyzed by sequencing at the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases. Clinical samples were taken from patients with COVID-19 in the period 03-13.01.2022.

COVID-19 in Bulgaria: Over 12,000 New Cases in the Last 24 hours

Ljubljana – Slovenia confirmed 143 cases of coronavirus on Sunday, a quarter more than in the week before, as 16% of all PCR tests came back positive and hospitals continued to fill up amidst an exponential growth in new cases.
