At Sarajevo's Butmir Airport, the President of Serbia was welcomed by the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH, Milorad Dodik, and the Bosniak member of the Presidency, Sefik Dzaferovic.
It was announced that Vui would be greeted at the airport by the complete Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovona, but the Croatian member eljko Komi was absent.

Turkish officer appointed NATO Sarajevo HQ deputy head

A Turkish colonel was appointed as the deputy commander of NATO's Sarajevo base in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey announced on Jan. 8. 

Following the appointment of army Col. Olcay Denizer, Turkey's National Defense Ministry said in a statement that the country's military fulfilled important duties in Bosnia and Herzegovina and noted Sarajevo's efforts to join NATO.

Bulgaria Confirms Support for NATO, EUFOR in Bosnia-Herzegovina

At Butmir base, Sarajevo, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva has assured the commanders of the NATO headquarters and of the EU Althea military operation that their mission is of key importance for the stability of Europe and as such it can rely on support from Bulgaria, reported BGNES.

Bulgaria has been taking part in EUFOR's Althea since its start in 2012.
