Man injured after being blown off balcony by gale
A 55-year-old man from Filippiada in northwestern Greece was recovering in an Arta hospital on Thursday after being blown off his balcony on Wednesday.
Gale-force winds in the area led to the man falling from the balcony of his fourth-floor apartment, authorities said.
He had to undergo a life-saving operation after being taken to the hospital.
