Russia Simulated a Nuclear Strike in Kaliningrad
The Russian army today simulated a nuclear strike during an exercise in the Kaliningrad exclave.
Kaliningrad is located between Lithuania, Poland and the Baltic Sea.
As part of today's exercise, about 100 Russian troops launched "electronic launches" of Iskander mobile ballistic missiles, the German Defense Ministry said.

Germany refuses Turkish demand for access to imagery from campaign against ISIL
Germany has ruled out giving Turkey unfiltered access to imagery gathered by its Tornado fighter jets operating out of the İncirlik Air Base in southern Turkey as part of a broader fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), the German Defense Ministry said, according to a report on German website Bild.de on Jan. 31.
German Navy vessels arrive at Crete on way to assist in migrant rescues
Two Germany Navy vessels reached Crete on Monday, on a mission to assist in migrant rescue operations in the Mediterranean, the German Defense Ministry announced.
Task force supply ship Berlin and frigate Hessen are expected to reach their final destination off Libya later in the week.
