Giurgiu County: Cristian Diaconescu says people should not be deceived in the presidential elections

People's Movement Party-backed (PMP) presidential candidate Cristian Diaconescu said that he believes the people of Giurgiu County are brave and dignified persons and urged them on Saturday, during a visit he conducted to Giurgiu County, to not be deceived and cheated in the presidential elections.

"I have found here courageous and dignified people, people such as those at the Naval yard that work for people abroad and that have not let this unit become scrap metal. We have here as in the entire country, Romanians that worry about tomorrow, which represents the most complicated situation in Europe and I advise you that in this year's presidential elections give yourself a gift. Do not allow yourselves to be lied and cheated because everybody knows the truth in his soul and one this cannot be bought, the soul of each and everyone of you!" said, on Saturday, in Giurgiu, Cristian Diaconescu.

He conducted a visit to the Central Market of the city of Giurgiu where he talked with the people there, after which he visited the Giurgiu Naval Yard and was delighted to see that there are still people here that "push Romania forward". Cristian Diaconescu listened to the success story of the Giurgiu Naval Yard and posed for photographs with a group of women welders that work side by side with the men in the shipbuilding process.

Finally, he met with PMP members and sympathizers in the grand hall of the city's Nicolae Balanescu Atheneum. He was met in Giurgiu by the chairman of the PMP county branch, deputy Marin Anton, secretary general of the PMP Giurgiu branch, Daniel Fita, PMP Giurgiu deputy chairman Nicu Stefan and chairman of the Giurgiu branch of the People's Movement Foundation, Ionel Dinu.
