Rising investor interest in Athens airport IPO

Interest in the initial public offering of Athens International Airport is surging, with prospective investors inquiring with advisers Bank of America, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley and shareholder Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (TAIPED), the privatization agency. TAIPED will sell its 30% stake to Germany-based manager AviAlliance, which currently holds 40%, and the remaining 20% through the IPO for listing on the Athens Stock Exchange.
