Turkish airfcraft violate Greek airspace 38 times
A Turkish military reconnaissance aircraft violated Greek airspace for a long time on Thursday. Turkish aircraft illegally entered Greek airspace for 38 times flying over the northeast, central and southeast Aegean Sea, with two flying in formation and two others infringed on the Athens FIR 4 times. The reconnaissance airplane followed a path over the islands of Rhodes, Lesvos and Limnos.

Two metro stations evacuated over bomb scare
Police closed down and evacuated two stations on the Athens metro system on Thursday in response to two anonymous bomb threats.
Bomb-disposal experts have been dispatched to Egaleo and Aghia Marina stations after two callers told the police shortly after 1.30 p.m. that two explosive devices were timed to go off at the stations at 3.40 p.m.

Mild spring weather expected over Easter weekend
Balmy springtime weather is expected across much of Greece over the Easter holiday weekend, as temperatures will reach highs of up to 27 degrees Celsius in some inland areas, but will top out at around 20C near the sea. Winds will be moderate, except for some stronger gusts in the central and southeast Aegean.

Riot police come under barrage of attacks in central Athens
Riot police stationed at key points of the downtown Athens district of Exarchia came under attack for a fifth consecutive night on Wednesday.
What was different about Wednesday's incident compared to previous ones was that the attack appeared to be organized in volleys, starting at around 10 p.m. and ending after midnight.

Anti-establishment groups have set up a "political kiosk" in a container in Exarchia Square, central Athens, which they say will contribute to the culture of political activism.
According to a text posted on an anti-establishment site, the aim is for the kiosk to become a focal point for young people with events and a discussion forum.

Panathinaikos Athens defeated PAOK Thessaloniki 2-0 in their first leg meeting for the Greek cup semi-finals in Athens. The Greek opened the score on the 20th minute-mark with a Moledo header, while Leto made it 2-0 in the 83rd minute, giving his team a strong lead for the second leg in Thessaloniki.
