Singapore Airlines launches direct Athens-Singapore flights
Singapore Airlines on Tuesday started twice-weekly direct flights from Athens to Singapore, every Monday and Thursday.
The service will run to October 9 on Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
The airline also operates 33 weekly flights linking Athens and Singapore via Istanbul in a code-share partnership with Aegean and Turkish Airlines.

Istanbul’s largest panoramic photo unveiled
A Turkish computer expert has created the most detailed panoramic image of Istanbul ever, using a total of 1,400 photographs.
Ahmet Bozdemir, a system manager at the 360tr.com website that hosts panoramic images from around Turkey, took hundreds of photographs on the roof of the Istanbul Sapphire, one of the tallest buildings in Europe.
