Four Turkish soldiers who were on duty with NATO, as well as a military attaché, have been granted asylum in Norway following their application after the July 15, 2016, failed coup attempt, triggering a strong reaction from the Turkish government.

Residents of Turkey's biggest city, Istanbul, suffer some of the worst hearing loss in the world due to excessive amounts of noise, according to data from the Worldwide Hearing Index, which was prepared for the World Hearing Day on March 3.

The city was the fifth worst city out of 50 for hearing loss, according to the Combined Hearing Loss Index, which is a combined result of the average hearing loss and the noise pollution indices.

The index was prepared by a German scientific research company, Mimi.

As of Tuesday, traffic of diesel cars will be banned in the Norwegian capital Oslo.

The measure is taken in an attempt to stop severe pollution of the air in the city, reported BTA.

The ban will be in force until Thursday. It will be valid for municipal roads, as well as national roads crossing the capital.
