Centuries-old church rescued in Cappadocia
he roof of a 1,500-year-old church in the central Anatolian region of Cappadocia has begun to be restored before its collapse. Now, officials need resources for the restoration of the other parts of the Red Church (Kızıl Kilise), which was included in the 2008 World Monuments Watch.

15th anniversary of Kumanovo Treaty
BELGRADE - This Monday marks the 15th anniversary of the Military Technical Agreement known also as the Kumanovo Treaty, which was signed on June 9, 1999, ending NATO's 79-day long bombing campaign against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia that killed at least 2,500 and injured more than 12,500 people.

Rafa Nadal Wins 9th French Open Title
World number 1 Rafael Nadal won his 9th French Open title, beating Novak Djokovic 3:1 (3:6, 7:5, 6:2, 6:4) in the final.
Nadal extended his absolute domination on clay court in Paris, where he has lost only once since 2005. Meanwhile, Djokovic was unable to reconquer his first position in the ATP ranking and also claim the only Grand Slam title that is missing in his trophy case.

PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic was outplayed by defending champion Spain's Rafael Nadal in the Roland Garros final on Sunday 3-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4.
Djokovic again failed to collect the only Grand Slam title he lacks following the 2012 finals when he was also defeated by Nadal.
