Djokovic defeated by Nadal in Roland Garros final

PARIS - Serbia's Novak Djokovic was outplayed by defending champion Spain's Rafael Nadal in the Roland Garros final on Sunday 3-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4.

Djokovic again failed to collect the only Grand Slam title he lacks following the 2012 finals when he was also defeated by Nadal.

The Spanish tennis player and world No. 1 claimed his ninth title at Roland Garros and 14th Grand Slam title and is now level with Pete Sampras.

This is Nadal's 64th ATP career trophy.
