14,000 Police Officers to Guard Polls

The National Police Chief Directorate voiced to media that a total of 14,000 uniformed police officers are to be deployed across Bulgaria during the early parliamentary election on March 26, according to BNR.

There are going to be 7,319 election spots with a total of 12,294 poll stations. The police assure that these are the common measures for such an event.

Leader of GERB: Bulgaria Must be More Stable Than Ever

''Our ideology is that everyone in Bulgaria is equal and has access to all posts when meeting the requirements. This is what Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (CEDB) the  leader of GERB Boiko Borisov said during the closing of CEDB's election campaign in Sofia.

He explained that there were Bulgarian Muslims among CEDB's magistrates, mayors, and MP.

The Election Campaign is Ending

At 00:00 Bulgarian time, the election campaign officially ends before the elections for Bulgaria's 44th parliament take place on Sunday, March 26.

Saturday is a day for reflection, and agitation is prohibited.

Tomorrow, the final number of polling stations in the country will become known.

President Rumen Radev: Bulgaria Does Not Give or Accept Lessons on Democracy

''Bulgaria does not give, but also does not accept lessons on democracy, especially from countries that do not respect the rule of law'', the  Bulgarian head of state Rumen Radev told reporters, asked to comment on the words of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to which our country was exerting pressure on Turks living in it before the elections.
