Farm Protests are Expected in Various Parts of Bulgaria

Farm protests are expected today in different parts of the country, according to BNR.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will gather breeders of several professional organizations, and in southern Bulgaria tobacco producers are threatening to block the crossings along the Bulgarian-Greek border.

Caretaker Government to Take Decisions For Opening Consulates in Some Countries

Caretaker Government will adopt at its regular meeting today  the opening of consulates of Bulgaria in Taraklia, Moldova; in Zaporozhye - Ukraine and Katowice - Poland, according to BNR.

Ministers will approve the national position for the summit of the EU in Rome on March 25.

Border Checkpoints With Turkey Blocked By Protests Against "Voting Tourism"

Slightly after 10:00 hrs, traffic at border cross checkpoint Kapitan Andreevo was blocked by protests held by patriots against the so-called "voting tourism" from Turkey.

Initially, the protest was announced as peaceful but, later on, people decided to block the lane from Turkey to Bulgaria and put tyres and chains along it.
