Serbian national ice hockey team bested by Estonia
BELGRADE - The Serbian national ice hockey team was defeated by Estonia 5-2 (1-1, 2-0, 2-1) in Belgrade late Saturday in the third round of the Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group A.
This defeat has reduced the chances of the Serbian team to win a medal at the Championship, which is being held at Pionir Ice Hall April 9-15.

Serbian national ice hockey team beats Israel
BELGRADE - The Serbian national ice hockey team beat Israel 10-6 (4-0, 2-3, 4-3) in Belgrade late Thursday in the second round of the Ice Hockey World Championship Division II Group A.
Serbia, the host nation of the tournament, will play Estonia on Saturday.

Ice Hockey World Championships kicks off in Belgrade
BELGRADE - The 2014 Ice Hockey Division IIA World Championships, which will take place from April 9 to 15, kicked off in Belgrade on Wednesday evening.
In the first match, Serbia was outplayed by Belgium, which is one of the favorites at the tournament, 8-3 (3-0, 2-2, 3-1).

USA To Hold Military Exercises in Poland
The US is preparing military exercises in Poland, said US ambassador to Poland, Stephen Mull.
According to Mull, they would included Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and the Baltics.
Polish radio station Radio Zet, quoted by Reuters, said Mull told them that the exercise will take place in the Lask base in central Poland.

The Euro area shows signs of recovery, recording a 0.3% growth in the gross domestic product in Q4 of 2013, according to data released by Eurostat Wednesday.
Compared with the same quarter of the previous year, seasonally adjusted GDP rose by 0.5% in the Euro area.
