More Than 88 500 Migrants Enter Croatia in Two Weeks
Croatia's Interior Ministry has said more than 88 500 migrants have entered the country in two weeks, as of 09:00 local time on Wednesday.
On Tuesday alone, the number of people who entered the country was 4200.
Greece has the highest unemployment rate in EU
Greek unemployment rate rose to 25.2% of the workforce in June, from 25 % in May, according to a report published by Eurostat.
Based on that report, the number of unemployed people in the EU totaled 23 million and in the Eurozone 17.6 million in August. Greece and Spain recorded the highest unemployment rates in the EU with 25.2% and 22.2% respectively.

Bulgaria's Security Agency Gets Additional Funding over Migrant Crisis
The Bulgarian government has approved the allocation of BGN 0.5 M in additional funding to the State Agency for National Security (DANS) amid increased migratory pressure coming from the border with Turkey.

End of Daylight Saving Time delayed in Turkey
Daylight Saving Time in Turkey will end on Nov. 8, instead of Oct. 25, because of the upcoming snap election on Nov. 1.
Clocks across the country will be switched back by one hour at 4 a.m., which will then become 3 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 8.
The clocks across Turkey were last put forward to Daylight Saving Time for an hour on March 29 to save electricity.

The G7 group of leading economies, European countries and Gulf states pledged $1.8 billion in funding on Sept.29 for UN aid agencies struggling with the worst refugee crisis in 70 years.
Trilateral Contact Group Agrees on Withdrawal of Weapons in Eastern Ukraine
The Working Group on Security of the Trilateral Contact Group, which involves representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE, reached an agreement on Tuesday on the withdrawal of tanks and other weapons from the frontline in eastern Ukraine.
The latest agreement supplements the Minsk ceasefire accords, which were signed in February.
Croatia Mulls Options if Hungary Closes Border
Croatia is mulling its options on refugees after Hungary again announced that it may completely close the border with Croatia.
After Hungary closed the border with Serbia on September 15, the refugee wave promptly diverted to Croatia the next day, with buses of refugees coming from the town of Presevo in the south of Serbia to the border.
