Bulgarian PM Clarifies Position on Hosting Hotspot Reception Centre for Refugees
Prime Minister Boyko Borisov clarified on Thursday his position on the possibility of Bulgaria hosting a hotspot reception centre for refugees.
Borisov dismissed earlier interpretations that he had requested for such a hotspot to be set up in Bulgaria during the extraordinary meeting of the European Council on Wednesday.

Bulgaria May Host 'Hotspot' Reception Center for Refugees - Merkel
A hotspot for refugees may be established in Bulgaria by end-November, according to German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Merkel, as cited by the press office of the EC, said that Bulgaria had requested the measure on the grounds of experiencing substantial migratory pressure.

Orban: If fence is unpopular, we'll let migrants pass

Merkel: Europe must guard its borders
German Chancellor Angela Merkel repeated her position that Europe had to improve EU border controls, especially with Turkey, arriving at the EU extra-ordinary Summit on the migration crisis, Wednesday. “We must see how to improve the protection of our borders, how to set up the right refugee reception centers”, she said.
