The United States has stated that no counterfeit visas produced at the fake U.S. embassy in Ghana, run by Ghanaian and Turkish organized crime rings for a decade, was used to enter the country. 

Authorities in Ghana busted a fake U.S. embassy in the capital Accra run by a criminal network that for a decade issued illegally obtained authentic visas, the U.S. State Department said. 

Deutsche Bank and Bank of America were swindled by Turkish-Iranian businessman Reza Zarrab, the office of Manhattan Attorney Preet Bharara, who is the lead prosecutor against the controversial figure, has alleged.

A ship launching ceremony in Tuzla, east of Istanbul has taken place on Nov.13.  Among the ships to launched, there were giants that are 300 meters in length and 50 meters in width. 

The first section of Istanbul's third airport is planned to open in 2018, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, underlining the economic importance of the government-backed construction projects. 

The 16th MÜSİAD EXPO opened on Nov. 9 in Istanbul, where thousands of businesspeople and investors from all over the world will explore new cooperation and partnership opportunities.

The expo will host in eight halls, 700 companies and 200,000 visitors from over 100 countries, according to the Independent Industrial and Business Association (MÜSİAD).      

International business leaders will meet for two days in Istanbul starting Nov. 2 at the Turkey-Africa Economic and Business Forum, which highlights Turkey's strategy to enhance bilateral trade and economic relations with countries in Africa.

A Turkish entrepreneur has established an official betting system particularly for camel and horse races and sporting competitions in Ghana, with his company reaching 100,000 people on a monthly basis and creating 2,000 jobs. 

The Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TİM) has called for some 181 envoys and civil servants from 73 countries across the globe to talk about Turkey's devotion to democratic rule and robust economy in their countries and to boost cooperation with Turkey during a three-day meeting hosted in the Aegean province of Çanakkale on Sept. 2-4, the association said in a statement.

A ceremony was held at Sedef Shipyard, at Tuzla, on Istanbul's Asian side, a couple of days ago. It was the first step for building Turkey's first aircraft carrier. In this giant shipyard, the new multipurpose amphibious assault ship called the TGC Anadolu is to be built.
